INDEPENDENT CERTIFICATES
For certain 18K and platinum jewellery with a centre stone of 0.50 carat or above, an independent certificate may be included. Please refer to the individual ring’s product specifications for further information, or if you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to our friendly team.
Each certificate is unique to the individual stone and verifies its specific characteristics and authenticity. If you choose to return your jewellery, the certificate must also be returned. You may also be asked to present it to your insurance provider when arranging cover or making a claim. We therefore recommend keeping it in a safe place for future reference.
The certificate is issued by one of the following official organisations: Gemological Institute of America (GIA), International Gemological Institute (IGI), or International Gemological Laboratory (IGL).

DOES THIS MAKE AN INDEPENDENTLY CERTIFIED DIAMOND MORE VALUABLE?
Yes, a diamond that is independently certified is generally more valuable and highly sought after than a non-certified diamond. Certification provides assurance of the diamond’s authenticity and confirms its quality through an impartial and professional assessment.
Should you decide to sell your diamond in the future, the certificate offers prospective buyers the same peace of mind it provided at the time of your purchase. It is also an important document for insurance purposes, as it may be required when arranging cover or making a claim.
