DHL Delivery Delays for International Orders 

Why is my DHL order delayed? - 
Delays can happen due to weather, customs checks, local logistics issues, or other unexpected disruptions. High shipment volumes can also cause processing backlogs.

How can I check for my tracking number? -

Click the “Can We Help You?” button located in the lower right corner of any page on our website. Select “Track and Manage Orders” and sign in to view the most recent update on your order.

How can I check for ongoing issues? -
You can review the DHL Global Service Alerts page for widespread issues.

What if my package is significantly delayed? - 
If your delivery is over 10 days past the estimated date, contact so we can start an investigation with DHL on your behalf.

If you order is delayed, return to the main menu and select “Live Chat – Existing Purchase Help” to speak with a live agent during our opening hours.

If you have trouble logging in, please email [email protected] with your order number in the subject line or contact us via our Contact page.

Could customs be causing the delay? -
Yes, packages must be cleared by customs in the destination country. This can involve inspections and the collection of duties or taxes. All custom charges are covered within your order cost, if the courier reaches out please contact us before making any payments to avoid being scammed. 

What do I do if customs have contacted me? -
If your parcel requires any additional information to deliver your parcel they will reach out to you directly, if you are unsure on the answer please contact us immediately by selecting “Live Chat – Existing Purchase Help” to speak with a live agent during our opening hours.

What other reasons can cause delays? - 

  • Weather or road closures affecting logistics

  • Missed deliveries if no one is available to accept the parcel

  • High shipment volumes leading to backlogs, usually during peak periods.

What should I do while waiting? - 

  • Check DHL’s service updates for current issues.

  • Track your package using the provided tracking number, keeping in mind updates may not be immediate.
