Jewellery Return and Disposal Policy
At The Diamond Store, when customers return their jewellery for repair, resizing, or any other services, we will assess the item and provide an outcome or options for proceeding.
During the 2-year period following receipt of your jewellery, if we do not hear from you regarding your preferred course of action, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you through multiple steps:
- Initial Communication: We will send you a written assessment to your email address, and options to proceed.
- Follow-up Contact: If we do not receive a response, we will follow up with a phone call, email, and correspondence sent to your home address.
- Final Reminder: Should there still be no response, we will send a further, final notice to your home address. After this mailing, you will have 14 calendar days to respond.
Please know that all three contact attempts will be made within the 2-year period.
Important: If we do not receive any response from you within 14 calendar days of the final notice, we reserve the right to dispose of or destroy the jewellery.
We understand that circumstances can change and life events may impact your ability to respond. If you wish to put any repair or resizing work on hold, please kindly contact us to confirm.
Note: We are unable to retain jewellery beyond the 2-year period. After this time, unclaimed items will be disposed of without further notice.
